Safeguarding Children (Battling Brook group governor in-school training)
This course will give all governors an overview of their responsibilities and those of their school in relation to safeguarding children. The training is regularly updated to include changes in governance legislation and new initiatives.
Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 (Including Paediatric Element)
Candidates successfully completing this course will be entitled to act as a first aider in the workplace. This Emergency First Aid at Work course may be more suitable whereby a needs assessment has identified a low-risk work environment. This course complies with the Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 (Appendix 6 Content of an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Course)
Note: The Emergency First Aid at Work course is unit 1 and day 1 of the First Aid at Work 3 day course
In addition to the subjects covered on a standard Emergency First Aid at Work course it also includes training relevant to a school environment
First Aid at Work (Level 3)
Candidates successfully completing this course will be entitled to act as a first-aider in the workplace. This First aid at Work course includes the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course and also equips the first-aider to apply first aid to an extensive range of specific injuries and illnesses. This course complies with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) regulations 1981 (Appendix 5 Content of a First Aid at Work (FAW) course).

LEAMIS - FMS Daily Tasks - Day 1 LA Maintained & Academy Schools
FMS is the financial management system that is used to record, manage and monitor the school budget.
This course will cover the day to day aspects of FMS including orders, invoices, payments, recording income and dealing with petty cash. Local bank/central processes will be covered as appropriate.
Who should attend?
Newly appointed staff with a supporting role relating to the financial processes, or existing staff who may be taking on a new role within school.
Staff supporting the school bursar in the financial processes.
